MHM has been performing audits under the Federal Single Audit Act for many years. In fact, during the past three years, the firm has completed more than 500 single audits throughout the country. Our experience in providing auditing and compliance services to counties, cities, school districts, nonprofit agencies and colleges provides the expertise needed to perform the services your organization requires. During these audits, MHM performed audit procedures, prepared appropriate audit documentation and performed other compliance testing in conformance with GAAS.

When working with organizations administering Federal awards subject to OMB A-133, our objective is to help them achieve a high degree of fiduciary responsibility. Because funding may come from several sources, the financial statements for these clients must provide adequate disclosure and reporting to the different users and accurately reflect how monies from grants and private contributions are being used.

In connection with recent work, we were contracted to perform compliance reviews of over 275 organizations under the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program.
